How far does KB Pipe Fence & Fabrication travel?+
We're based in Adrian, Missouri and generally serve the Kansas City-to-Joplin corridor. Have a project outside that area? Contact us anyway — depending on the project size and scope, we may be able to help.
Do you offer free estimates?+
Yes. Tell us about your project, where you're located, and what you're trying to accomplish. Photos, measurements, property maps, and project plans are helpful when available.
Do I need to know exactly what kind of fence I want?+
No. Tell us what you're trying to accomplish — containing livestock, creating paddocks, securing a yard, replacing an old fence, adding an entrance, and so on — and we'll talk through appropriate options.
Can you remove or clear an old fence line?+
Yes. We offer fence-row clearing and skid-steer land services. Let us know what's currently on the property when requesting your estimate.
Can you build the gate too?+
Yes. Because we also do custom metal fabrication, we can discuss gates, entrances, and other fabricated components as part of your fencing project.
Can you build from NRCS plans?+
Yes. If you have NRCS plans, job sheets, or specifications, send them with your quote request so we can evaluate the project requirements.

Certain fencing may qualify for financial assistance when it's part of an eligible conservation project. Eligibility and payment amounts are determined by USDA-NRCS — not KB Pipe Fence & Fabrication. Contact NRCS before beginning work you intend to include in a funded project.

You're welcome to talk with us about the project at any stage. However, NRCS determines the conservation practice, specifications, and eligibility. If you're pursuing financial assistance, contact NRCS early so the project can be properly planned before construction begins.
Will you install a fence directly on my property line?+
We can build according to the agreed project location, but the landowner is responsible for establishing the legal boundary. If there's any uncertainty or disagreement about the property line, resolve it before construction.

Not every project requires a new survey, but if the exact property boundary is uncertain — particularly when replacing an old division fence — a survey can prevent a much more expensive problem later.
Who calls 811 before digging?+
Missouri law requires notification of Missouri 811 before excavation. We'll talk through who makes that call as part of scheduling your project — ask us if you're not sure whether it's been handled.
